Wandoan Power Project

The Wandoan Power Project is located in Queensland Australia proximate to the Surat Basin. 

The planned project is a 400MW power project utilizing an Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) with carbon capture and storage into a saline formation.

The project is being developed by the Wandoan Power Consortium which includes the leading Queensland Energy Generator, Stanwell and GE Energy.

CCS TLM recently performed an Independent Project Review (IPR) of the full value chain to provide the project sponsors with the assurance they need to be able to progress the project through the next phase.  The IPR inspected all aspects including conversion and capture, transportation and storage, costs and commercial viability.
