ACA Low Emissions Technologies Limited
The ZeroGen Project has been promoted as the leading flagship project by the Queensland Government created to accelerate the development and deployment of low-emission coal-fired power generation.
The project is planned to provide 530MW (gross) of low carbon power to the State of Queensland. Designed to ramp up from an initial CO2 capture rate of 65% to 90% utilizing pre-combustion IGCC technology supplied by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Approximately two million tones of CO2 is planned to be captured, transported and permanently stored in deep saline formation.
CCS TLM’s role was to lead a team of 12 internationally recognized experts on a Independent Project Review (IPR) of the ZeroGen Project. The review covered technology, project management and commercial aspects of the process plant and the CO2 storage proposals.
