A global emissons reduction scenarios 

The international Energy Agency (IEA) studied a number of global GHG emission reduction scenarios and concluded that CCS is ‘the most important single new technology for CO2 savings’ in both power generation and Industry, The IEA found that CCS needs to contribute 20% of total CO2 mitigation effort by 2050.
